Description
Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 18th century, constructed from rubble with Cotswold stone roofs. The building has an irregular plan with extensive wings that form a rough T-shape. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features ashlar chimneys, including a particularly fine group of four chimneys centrally located on the main part, which creates a lobby entrance. The farmhouse has mullioned windows with drips, arranged in two and three lights. The main part has two windows and a gable for a dormer to the right. There is an additional chimney on the left side and a range of outbuildings beyond, which are single storey and feature an attic, ending to the south with an original-looking mullioned window in the gable. To the right, there is a two-storey L-plan wing with two windows, and the return of this wing to the east has two gables at irregular levels with mullioned windows and a square plan chimney. The house has irregular extensions to the west and is described as a very picturesque, organically developed structure.
