Description
Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered over time. It is two storeys tall with an attic and constructed from stone, featuring coped gable ends on kneelers. The roof is a mix of slate and tile, and there is a central chimney stack with grouped square stone shafts. The building has a T-shaped layout, with the western part being the older section.
The south front includes a gable on the left-hand side, which has one bay of stone mullioned windows with leaded lights and drip moulds. There are two-light windows in the attic and three-light windows on both the first and ground floors. The east face has one blocked upper stone mullioned window. The right-hand part of the farmhouse features three irregular bays of wood casement windows with leaded lights, and there is an entrance in a lean-to with a slate roof at the angle of the building.
Additionally, there is a garden wall made of rubblestone, which includes a segmental archway and ramps down to a pier at the southeast corner of the block. The garden wall is also coped.
