Description

Old Manor House Farm is a house that dates from the 16th to 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and later. The building has two storeys and an attic, constructed partly of stone and partly of chequer brick, topped with an old tile roof.

The northeast front features chequer brick with small flush stone quoins, a first-floor string course, toothed eaves, and a chimney positioned to the right of the centre. This facade includes three bays of sash windows, which were altered in the 19th century and have stone lintels and key blocks, along with a central door.

On the southeast front, there are two large stone chimney stacks with brick shafts, a small dormer window situated between them, and five irregular casement windows—three from the 16th and 17th centuries and two from the 18th or 19th centuries.

The southwest front showcases a wide stone gable with a three-light stone mullioned window, a large eight-light stone mullioned window, another large eight-light stone mullioned and transomed window on the first floor, and a four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, all featuring cornice heads.

Inside, there is an early 18th-century staircase with turned balusters, square newels, and a moulded handrail.
