Description

Malting Farmhouse is a house dated 1624 that has been altered. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The building is constructed of coursed rubblestone with ironstone dressings. It features coped gable ends with kneelers and has flanking stacks. The roof is covered with concrete plain roof tiles. Modern three-light casements have replaced the original stone mullioned windows, although the ironstone drip moulds from the original windows remain. A date panel between the upper windows reads 'H.H.A. 1624'. There is also a two-storey rear range.
