Description

Horseshoe Cottage and Number 7 Earl Row are two cottages, originally part of a terrace of four buildings, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, and subsequently altered. They are constructed of coursed rubble stone and have a thatched roof, with four chimneys. Number 7 Earl Row has one bay and features a two-light casement window and a four-panel door. Horseshoe Cottage comprises the left four bays, formerly two separate cottages. The left two bays have paired casement windows and a glazed centre door, while the right two bays feature leaded dormer casements and a blocked centre door. Further right, two bays include barred paired casement windows, a centre door, and one left dormer. A lean-to addition is present on the right side.
