Description
Greenbank Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features pantile roofs, a gable ashlar stack, and single ridge and gable red brick stacks. The cottage is a single storey with attics and has a four-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, which is sheltered by a gabled open porch from the 20th century. To the left of the door are two glazing bar casements, and to the right is a single glazing bar casement, all of which are set under timber lintels. The cottage also has two raking dormers with two-light casements and rendered cheeks.
