Description
Nos 1 and 2 Eastleach are a row of two houses with a coach house at the west end. No 1 dates from the early to mid-19th century, while No 2 is from the mid to late 18th century. The buildings are constructed from coursed and random rubble limestone, with rubble chimneys and a stone slate roof.
No 1 is two-storey, while No 2 has a single-storey with an attic front wing. The front of No 1 features a two-window arrangement, with all 19th-century casements and timber lintels. There is a central doorway with a stone flat arch, a projecting stone slate porch hood, and a plank door. To the left is the coach house doorway with plank doors and a fixed-light window to the right. No 2 has a single cross window with a timber lintel, and the wing to the right has single window timber casement fenestration with timber lintels at the gable end. Both houses have ridge-mounted chimneys. The interiors were not inspected.
