Description
Nos 12, 14 and 16 Eastleach is a former row of four houses, now comprising three, mostly built in the early 18th century, with some later 18th century and 19th century rebuilding. The buildings are constructed of random and coursed rubble limestone, with rubble and ashlar chimneys and stone slate roofs. They are two-storey structures, with an attic in No 14.
The front elevation features two-window fenestration on No 12, with all timber casements and timber lintels, except for a ground floor two-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement on the right. There is a central doorway with a timber lintel and a plank door, topped by a gabled timber porch hood. Two chimneys are mounted on the ridge. No 14 has a central two-light mullioned casement on both the ground and upper floors, with a segmental arched casement to the left and a doorway with a gabled porch. An eaves-mounted attic dormer and two gable end chimneys are also present. No 16 has seen more rebuilding, featuring mixed casement fenestration, including one ground floor three-light window, and two eaves-mounted gabled roof dormers on the right.
Interiors have not been inspected.
