Description
Two houses forming a row, dating from the early to mid-18th century, with significant restoration in the mid-20th century. The houses are constructed from random rubble limestone with rubble chimneys and a stone slate roof. They are two storeys high and feature a rear wing at the east end. The front elevation has four half gables and a four-window arrangement, with two and three-light, chamfered mullioned casement windows fitted in the 20th century, each with a hood mould. A roughly central doorway has a timber lintel and plank door. Two chimneys rise from the ridge of the roof. Various casement windows are visible in the gable ends. The interior has not been inspected. Although extensively restored in the 20th century, the houses remain an important part of a continuous group.
