Description
Kitsbury Cottage is an early 19th-century detached house located in Upper Oddington. The building is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with ashlar quoins, and has a stone slate roof, along with brick stacks. The rectangular plan incorporates a 3-windowed facade featuring 12 and 16-pane sash windows. The central front door is a C19 four-panelled door, complete with its original door knocker and over-glazing. Gable-end stacks are present, and there is flat gable-end coping. A cast iron railing and gate, decorated with spearheads, are situated at the front of the property. The interior has not been inspected. A garden gate and railing, also with spearhead decoration, are included as part of the group value.
