Description
Manor House is a detached house located in Lower Oddington, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with early and late 20th-century extensions. The building is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. It has a 'T' shaped plan, featuring a projecting porch at the front and extensions at the rear. The house stands three storeys tall with an attic, which is illuminated by a two-light stone-mullioned garret light. The three-windowed facade includes two, four, and five-light hollow-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, most of which have transoms and stopped hoods. To the right, there is a single-storey service wing, which is lit by a four-light stone-mullioned window with a transom. Steps lead up to the loft at the right gable-end. The service wing has a single axial stack, while the main body of the house features a triple axial stack, both topped with moulded cappings. The interior has not been inspected.
