Description
2 Church Place is a semi-detached house dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with a concrete tile roof and ashlar and brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high, with an attic that features three 2-light dormers. The four-bay facade is illuminated by 1 and 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, which have stopped hoods and horizontal glazing bars. There is a 19th-century plank door located off-centre to the left, featuring a timber lintel and a single diamond-shaped light. The gable-end stacks have moulded cappings, and the left gable end has flat gable-end coping. The interior has not been inspected.
