Description
Village Farm House is an 18th-century detached house situated in Temple Guiting, Ford. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, with a limestone slate roof and 20th-century artificial limestone stacks. The house has a rectangular plan with a continuous outshut at the rear. It is two storeys high with an attic, illuminated by a single two-light roof dormer. The front facade features a two-windowed design, incorporating two- and three-light double-chamfered stone mullioned casements with horizontal glazing bars to the ground floor. First-floor windows are two- and three-light casements set within a double-chamfered surround, indicating the presence of former stone-mullioned casements. A central, part-glazed door is sheltered by a gabled corrugated iron canopy. The house is characterised by gable end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
