Description
Meadow View is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, featuring rendered cob walls and a gable-ended thatched roof, with a brick stack at the left-hand end. The building has a two-room plan, with the entrance leading into a large heated room on the left and a small service room on the right. It stands two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with one window on the upper floor and two on the ground floor. The ground floor windows are 3- and 2-light 20th-century casements, while the first floor has 19th-century 2-light leaded pane casements. A 20th-century plank door is located to the right of centre, and there is a lean-to structure against the right-hand end. The interior does not reveal any original features except for a plastered open fireplace in the left-hand room.
