Description

Hills View is a semi-detached cottage from the 18th century, featuring rendered cob walls and a gable-ended thatch roof with a brick stack at the left-hand end. The original layout consisted of a two-room plan, with an entrance leading into a larger heated room on the left and a smaller service room on the right. The exterior is two storeys high and has a regular front with two windows, which are 20th-century two- and three-light casements. There is a 20th-century plank door located to the right of centre. Inside, the cottage has insubstantial rough beams and an open fireplace that has been plastered over.
