Description

Copy Lake Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. It features rendered cob and rubble walls and a thatched roof that is hipped to the left and gabled to the right. There is a brick stack at the right gable end. The cottage has a two-room plan, with the right-hand room heated by a gable-end fireplace. The exterior is two storeys high, with a regular two-window front that includes later 20th-century two-light casements. To the right of the centre, there is a gabled 20th-century thatch porch with a glazed door. Inside, the right-hand room has an open fireplace with a cambered wooden lintel.
