Description

Tittywater Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with a 19th-century addition. It features rendered cob and rubble walls and a thatched roof that is gabled at the right end and hipped at the left. There is a brick stack located at the right gable end. The cottage has a single room plan with no evidence of subdivision, and a 19th-century outshut has been added at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high, with an asymmetrical front that has two windows, which are later 20th-century 1- and 2-light casements. A 20th-century lean-to porch is located at the centre, featuring a glazed door on the right side. Inside, there is a plain wooden lintel above the open fireplace.
