Description
Little Flairs is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with 20th-century additions and alterations. It features rendered cob and stone rubble walls and a thatched roof that is gabled to the right and hipped to the left, with a brick stack at the right gable end. The original layout consisted of two rooms: a larger heated room on the right and a smaller service room on the left, both of which have now been converted into one room. There is a late 20th-century addition at the left end.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a regular two-window front with 20th-century casements—two-light on the left and three-light on the right. There is a lean-to porch from the 19th century to the left of the centre, featuring a 20th-century plank door. Inside, the ceiling beams have been renewed, and there is an open fireplace with a roughly chamfered wooden lintel. The roof trusses have not been inspected.
