Description

Ivy Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features rendered rubble and cob walls, with a thatched roof that is hipped to the left and gabled to the right. There is a brick stack at the right gable end. The cottage has a two-room plan, with the larger heated room located to the right. A 19th-century outbuilding has been added to the right-hand end. The exterior is two storeys high and presents a regular front with two windows, featuring early 20th-century two-light small-paned casements. To the left of the centre, there is a large 19th-century gabled porch that has a panelled and glazed door behind it. The lower single-storey outbuilding at the right-hand end has a corrugated asbestos roof. The interior has not been inspected.
