Description

Sandpark and Holt Cottage, a pair of houses, dates from the early 18th century with 19th and 20th-century additions. The buildings feature rendered cob and rubble walls and have gable-ended thatch roofs with brick stacks at either end. The original layout is not entirely clear, but it is likely that it began as a two-room plan house that was later divided into two cottages. A 19th-century outshut has been added to the right-hand end, along with 20th-century rear extensions.

The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical three-window front. The left-hand cottage, No. 13, has two first-floor windows and one ground-floor window, which are 20th-century one and two-light casements without glazing bars. To the right of this is a 20th-century plank and part-glazed door. The adjoining cottage, No. 12, has a 20th-century plank door and early 20th-century two-light casements, along with an outshut on its right-hand end. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the survey.
