Description

Rose Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century. They have rendered cob and rubble walls and a gable-ended thatch roof, with two brick gable end stacks. Each cottage features a two-room plan, with the outer room heated by a gable end stack, suggesting they may have originally been one house. The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with three windows, which are early 20th century two-light casements. There are two 19th century plank doors, one located to the left of the center and the other towards the right-hand end. The interior has not been inspected.
