Description
Cock's Bridge Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century, with some additions from the 19th century. They have rendered cob walls and a thatched roof that is hipped at the left and gabled at the right end. There are two brick stacks, one axial and one at the right gable end. The cottages are arranged as two rooms each; the left-hand cottage has an axial stack between its rooms, while the right-hand cottage has its end room heated by a gable-end fireplace. Each cottage has a 19th-century outshut built at its end.
The exterior features two storeys and an asymmetrical front with five windows, which include early to mid-20th century two-light casements, with three windows on the right-hand cottage. Both cottages have early 20th-century gabled porches with decorative finials and a 20th-century plank door behind each porch. There is a lean-to built against each end wall. The interior does not display any early features on the ground floor, although some may be hidden.
