Description
Town Farm Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed with rendered cob and stone rubble walls. It features a gable-ended corrugated iron roof and has a large projecting rendered stone rubble stack at the left gable end, with a possibly later rendered brick stack on the right gable end. The cottage has a two-room layout, with the left-hand room heated by the gable end stack, while the right-hand room was likely originally an unheated service room. The building is two storeys high and has a roughly symmetrical front with three windows, which are early 20th-century three-light casements, except for the central window on the first floor, which is a two-light. A 20th-century glazed door is located at the center, sheltered by a 19th-century slate door hood. The interior has not been inspected.
