Description

The Bratton Clovelly War Memorial is a war memorial cross dating from 1920. It is made of dressed granite and features a wheel cross on a square base with a tapering square plinth. The tapering square shaft supports the wheel cross. On the front (northwest) face of the plinth, there is a recessed panel that reads: IN HONOURED MEMORY OF (NAMES) THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THEIR COUNTRY'S SERVICE IN THE WAR 1914 – 1918.
