The Ayre headstone, located approximately 5 meters south of the Church of St Peter in Petersmarland, is a Grade II listed headstone dated 1790, commemorating William Ayre. It is made of slate and features a carved arch above the inscription, with columns on either side and decorative roundels in the spandrels.
