Description

This is a headstone commemorating William Hare, who died in 1761. It is located 10 metres south of the east end of the south aisle of the Church of St Paternus. The headstone is made of slate and features a nowy-shaped head, adorned with an incised angel's head. The inscription includes upper and lower case lettering with serifs. The headstone has been re-erected.
