Description

This is a headstone from 1792, located 7 metres to the west of the south porch of the Church of St Paternus. It commemorates Elizabeth Bray, the widow of William Bray, Yeoman, of Helscott, who died in 1792, as well as their son George, who died in 1794. The headstone is made of slate and features a segmental arched head, with inscriptions in both upper and lower case lettering. The headstone has been re-erected.
