Roadside sign. 1930 by architects Orphoot and Whiting of Bideford for Christine Hamlyn. Mahogany wood. Oblong sign with a circular panel to the centre, incised lettering:- CLOVELLY CROSS FILLING STATION 300 YDS". Sign painted green with a red central section with a yellow and red flame border. Tapering square-section wooden post, green painted, tapering wooden finial on top.
