This is a signpost from the late 19th or early 20th century, made of cast iron. It features an octagonal post that narrows in thickness at a moulded juncture, with another similar moulded juncture located below the sign boards and a finial at the top. The signpost has four boards: the northwestern board indicates CROTIA MILL, the northeastern board points to CREWE, the southeastern board shows WESTON, and the southwestern board reads SHAVINGTON AND/NANTWICH.
