Description

The signpost at Kingshouse, dating from around 1890 or later, is a painted cast-iron structure featuring two arms. It has a straight post with two ring shafts positioned below the arms and topped with a ball finial. The arms are white-painted cast iron with chamfered corners, displaying black raised lettering and black-painted edges. This signpost is a rare surviving example of a traditional design.
