Description
This is a 17th-century house located on Main Road, Weston. It is timber framed with brick infill, laid in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is tiled, likely dating to the 19th century. The house is two stories high. The north-facing front has a rendered plinth beneath 13 bays of uneven timber framing with angle braces, and features 13 windows of 2 lights each, along with two 3-light dormer windows, all dating to the 20th century. Brick walling returns from the gable ends to form clasping buttresses at the left and right sides of the front. Chimney stacks are present to the far right and to the left of the centre. The left-hand gable end is brick, with a timber-framed gable and plaster infill. A ground floor 3-light casement window has mullions and a Tudor hood-mould made of moulded brick. The gable also contains a 2-light casement window. Above this window are the inscribed letters "A D" flanked by two coats of arms, separated by the window, with the date 1881 displayed below.
