Roadside sign. 1930 by architects Orphoot and Whiting of Bideford for Christine Hamlyn. Mahogany wood. Oblong sign with circular panel to centre, incised lettering:- "CLOVELLY CROSS FILLING STATION 300 YDS". Sign painted green with a red centre section with a yellow and red flame border. Circular green-painted wooden post, a reused telegraph pole, tapering wooden finial on top.
