Description
Fountain Cottage and Sunnyside is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They have rendered cob walls and a thatched roof that is hipped at the left end and gabled at the right. There is a central brick chimney stack and a small shaft at the right gable end.
The cottages are two storeys high and have an asymmetrical window arrangement with two windows for Fountain Cottage and one for Sunnyside. Fountain Cottage features a regular façade with early 19th century 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 20th century one and two-light casements on the ground floor, along with a central 20th century glazed porch. Sunnyside, located to the right, has an asymmetrical front with later 20th century diamond leaded pane two-light casements on each floor and a 20th century gabled porch to the right.
The interior has not been inspected.
