Description

The raised pavement in front of the former Church of St Mary, St Mary's Hall, and the former Church of England Primary School dates from around 1823. It features stone-coped rubble walls, granite steps, and restored spearhead railings topped with urn finials. There are two stone piers on the left side. This raised pavement is a notable element in the streetscape and was built around the same time as St Mary's Hall and the 1826 remodelling of the Church of St Mary.
