Description
Cinderella is a house located on Fore Street in Shaldon, likely built in the early 19th century, with alterations around 1840. The exterior features painted stucco and a slate roof with rendered stacks at the gable ends. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. The house may have originally been a symmetrical early 19th-century design, but it includes a later projecting semicircular two-storey bay on the right, which has a dentil cornice. The central and left-hand windows have moulded architraves, and there is a wide segmental-bowed shop window that may have been added around 1840. The shop fascia extends to the left, forming a porch supported by incised wooden columns. The shop window features a 20th-century door and glazing. The interior has not been inspected.
