Pair of attached houses with shops. Early/mid C19. Painted stucco, the 1st and 2nd floors of No.25 have C20 roughcast, continuous slate roof with rendered stack to the right. Double-depth plans. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 2-window range to the pair. Modillion cornice, 4/8-pane sash windows at eaves level, 8/8-pane sashes to the 1st floor all with bracketed sills. Banded rustication to the ground floor, C20 paired doors to the centre flanked by bowed shop windows with consoles supporting a fascia and cornice spanning the whole facade. That to No.24 to the left has 24 fixed panes, No.25 has curved frames to a 12/12-pane sash window and a 2-light casement to dormer. INTERIOR: not inspected.
