Description

29 Fore Street is an early 19th-century house, now used as a shop. It is built of painted stucco with a slate roof and rendered stacks to the gable ends. The original design was symmetrical, with a three-window front. The upper floor has a central 6/6-pane sash window flanked by 8/8-pane sashes. The ground floor has a central 20th-century door with an overlight, set within a doorcase featuring pilasters and a cornice, with panelled reveals. To the left is a 20th-century glazed door and a 20th-century bow window, and to the right is a 20th-century shop. The interior has not been inspected.
