Description

No. 21 Fore Street is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features painted stucco and a slate roof with a stack at the right gable end. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high with a two-window range. A blank wall on the right side suggests that this may be a remodelling of an earlier structure. The upper eaves level has 3/6-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 6/6-pane sashes. The mid-19th century shop front is stepped forward, with small panes and a four-panel door that includes an overlight. There is also a door to the upper rooms located on the far left. The interior has not been inspected.
