Pair of attached houses, now shop and office. Early C18. Rendered and stuccoed timber-frame with a central brick stack, 2 right-hand lateral stacks and a central rear stack, and pantile hipped roof. Single rooms front and back with central stair. 3 storeys, attic and basement; 2:1-window range. C19 shop fronts and a moulded eaves cornice. Outer doorways, No.58 has a 3-pane plate-glass window and fascia, and 6/6-pane sashes in flush frames, No.60 has an 18-pane window and fascia, and 8/8-pane sashes in flush frames. Steep roof with a rear extension. INTERIOR: lateral ceiling beams and central winder stairs to flanking walls. No.60 is a good example of an early C19 shop front.
