Description
Lugehay House is a house from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century to the ground floor. It features painted stucco and a hipped slate roof, with rendered stacks on the sides and rear. The building has a double-depth plan and includes a three-storey rear wing.
The exterior is three storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. A former central door space has been converted into a mid-19th century window, which includes a fanlight with radial glazing bars and margin panes, along with a 6/6-pane sash window on the first floor and a 3/6-pane sash on the second floor. The side windows consist of 4/8-pane sashes on the second floor, 8/8-pane sashes on the first floor, and mid-19th century French windows that have margin panes and overlights with crossed glazing bars.
On the left side of the building, there are various early 19th-century and later windows, as well as a mid-19th century single-storey porch that now serves as the entrance. This porch features a 6-panel door and an overlight with crossed glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
