Description

Leacombe is a lodge, dating from around 1840, originally built as part of Westbrook (listed separately). It is now a house. The building is constructed of painted stucco with a slate roof and a rendered stack to the left gable. It has a three-bay plan.

The exterior displays a two-storey, three-window façade. The two bays to the right and the left return have shallow-pitched gables adorned with fretted bargeboards, finials, and pendants; the finial to the front is missing, but a painted stone shield remains at the apex. The central entrance features raised and fielded panels, a narrow overlight, and a 6/6-pane sash window above, set beneath a label mould. Flanking the entrance are two-storey canted bays with hipped slate roofs and plate-glass sash windows. The left-hand bay rises above the eaves, while the bay to the right is set within the gable. The right return, facing Bitton Park Road, is blank. The interior has not been inspected.
