Description
Greenway Nursing Home, also known as Landscore House, consists of two houses that have been converted into retirement homes. The building features painted roughcast walls and a hipped slate roof with four hipped bays on the north side of the left return. It has rendered stacks at the front and right, as well as a party wall for the rear wing. The layout is double-depth, with a lower two-storey service wing on the right and a long rear left wing that faces the garden and the sea.
The exterior is two storeys high, with a symmetrical three-window arrangement on the main block, two windows on the right wing, and six windows on the rear left wing. The windows are 6/6-pane sash style, with the front left windows being blind. There is a platband below the first-floor window sills on the front and left return, and a projecting enclosed rectangular porch supported by clasping pilasters. The garden front features a hipped slate roof over a verandah, which is supported by six fluted cast-iron columns. The interior has not been inspected.
