Description
36 Northumberland Place is a house located in Teignmouth, dating from the early 19th century and remodeled in the mid-19th century. The exterior features painted incised stucco and a slate roof with a tall rendered chimney stack on the right. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a one-window range. The mid-19th century horned 2/2-pane sash windows are adorned with segmental moulded architraves that include keystones. The attic window is set in a gabled half-dormer topped with a terra-cotta finial. To the left, there is a 20th-century door that has a semicircular overlight and a roll-moulded arris. The interior has not been inspected. This property is part of a group of early 19th-century buildings in Northumberland Place.
