Description

No. 18, Northumberland Place is an early 19th-century house located within a group of similar properties in Northumberland Place. The house is built of painted stucco and has a slate roof. It follows a double-depth plan. The exterior presents a two-storey, two-window facade. A fine early 19th-century doorcase is located on the right-hand side, featuring engaged reeded columns supporting an entablature above a fanlight with radial glazing bars (likely 20th century) and a six-panel door. The house has 19th-century plate-glass sash windows, with the exception of a 20th-century canted bay and railings at the first-floor level to the left. The interior was not inspected.
