Description

New Quay is a quay built in 1820 for George Templar of Stover. It is made of Hay Tor granite and Plymouth limestone and measures approximately 40 meters wide, projecting about 50 meters into the sea. The quay was constructed for the export of Hay Tor granite to London for the construction of the new London Bridge.
