Description

No. 2 St George's Road is a house in a row, built in the early 19th century. It features a stucco front and a dry slate roof with projecting eaves at the front, along with brick end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high, with a nearly symmetrical three-window front. The central doorway is round-arched and has a plain fanlight above a 20th-century panelled door. The original windows are 16-pane hornless sashes, likely set over granite sills, and the eaves have widely spaced brackets. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
