Description
This building is a bank barn with an attached shippon, located approximately 25 metres north of Whitehouse Farmhouse. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of slate rubble with granite quoins and arches. The roof is made of slurried slate and is half-hipped. The structure has two storeys, with shippon doors on the ground floor featuring dressed granite arches. There is a central barn loft door that is accessed by an external flight of steps. Additionally, there is a row of pigeon holes located below the eaves, and the barn is at ground level at the rear. This building is included for its group value.
