Description

This barn, located immediately south-east of Ware Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of slate rubble with granite quoins and features a slate half-hipped roof. The building has two storeys, with shippon doors and a cart entrance on the ground floor. There are external stone stairs leading to a loading doorway at the centre, which has double doors and a slated hood. To the left, there are additional external stone stairs leading to a loft door. The barn also includes ventilation slits and a row of pigeon holes below the eaves.
