Description
This 18th-century shippon (a traditional farm building for animals) with a loft above and an attached cartshed is located immediately south of Ware Farmhouse. It is constructed of slate rubble with corrugated iron roofing and gabled ends. The building is situated to the back of the road, and its front, facing the yard, features shippon doors at ground floor level and an external stone staircase leading to a loft door. A row of pigeon holes is set below the eaves. There are two loading doors on the roadside. A cartshed is attached to the south end of the building. The building is listed primarily for its contribution to the group value of the farm complex.
