Description
Vine Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It features stone rubble construction with a slate-hung first floor and an asbestos slate roof that has both hipped and gabled ends. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range with sashes that include glazing bars. There is a central doorway that is accompanied by a 20th-century porch. To the right, there is a two-storey stone rubble section that is one bay wide and set back, which has a lower half-hipped roof and was likely originally used as stables with a loft above. External stone steps at the rear lead to the loft door. The cottage has rendered chimney stacks, one located at the left-hand end and the other at the east gable end of the left-hand part.
